Senior Finance & Trade Consultant (With Technical Development Skills) - Germany
As Senior Finance and Trade Consultant, located in our office in Nuremberg, Germany, you will contribute to the ERP-implementations of our beverage solution Drink-IT (www.drink-it.com). Drink-IT is an international solution based on the ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics NAV and has components that have been specifically designed for producers and distributors in the beverage industry.
You provide the knowledge and experience to help develop innovative solutions that will make optimal use of the information present in their systems and assist them in becoming more organised and productive as a business and provide them with the tools to make business enhancing decisions – All in all help them become a better business than they are today.
Your challenge
You support our sales-team during the sales process:
- By giving product demo’s to the customer
- By performing analysis for prospects and customers
- By estimating resource effort and developing project proposals
- By configuring the solution to suit the customer requirements
- By creating technical concepts which will fit the customers demand
- By performing analysis for finding the best-fitting solution from a technical perspective
- By developing solutions, that fit to the market
- By estimating resource effort and developing project proposals
- By supporting our other business & technical consultants and giving pro-actively feedback and suggestions to improve our product from a process & technical perspective
- By taking over responsibility for the technical development of sub-modules within our vertical branch solution Drink-IT
You make sure that the projects will be delivered on schedule:
- By analyzing the operational and technical and administrative processes for customers
- By setting up fit-gap analysis between existing and desired software solutions
- By detailing the functional analysis requirements
- By setting up the system and doing the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Drink-IT extensions at the customers premises
- By testing the solution
- By training the end-users
- By giving on-site solution support to customers
- By setting up a business process and technical concepts
- By implementing those concepts based on Microsoft’s and our style guides
- By testing the solution
- By giving support to customers and colleagues
- Always looking for change in efficiency and wanting to improve our services
- Willing to go the extra mile in satisfying the customer – even on site
You make sure the agree business benefits are delivered:
- Guiding the client through business and role changes
- Tracking management and user on a journey from their current ways of working to the new
- Helping the client through the trauma of changing processes, job roles, and systems so after go-live they are productive, knowledgeable, not frightened and confident in the new ways of working
- Ensuring that the desired outcomes of implementing the new Drink-IT solution are met and the client is happy to be referenceable and sign-up to developing joint case studies

The Knowledge and competencies that we ask:
- Relevant higher-level education or equivalent level achieved through experience.
- Solid knowledge and/or experience in ERP systems. (5 years and at least 3 full implementation lifecycle or equivalent)
- Functional and process knowledge of Finance and Trade areas of a business gained either through working in a finance department or implementing systems into a finance department.
- Deep knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics NAV development (at least 5 years’ experience on NAV2009-2018)
- Experience in building vertical branch solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Solid knowledge and/or experience in the core business processes within Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Assets are:
- Experience as Business/IT Analyst
- Willing to travel to customers
- Detailed Knowledge in Finance, Sales, Pricing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Knowledge of German and English - French would be advantageous
